John-Angus MacDonald (born November 12 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia is a Canadian musician who is best known as the lead guitarist for the rock group The Trews. His brother Colin is also a member of the group, as is his cousin Sean Dalton.

MacDonald produced the band's 2009 live acoustic album Acoustic - Friends & Total Strangers.
